Head of Redress attends NALS Conference

Head of Redress, Sean Hooker, will be attending the National Approved Letting Scheme (NALS) annual conference on Thursday 13th November 2014.

The NALS conference is a highly valuable and worthwhile day featuring an exhibition of leading suppliers of industry services.

This year's conference theme of "being on the line" is designed to help agents future-proof their business and become informed and empowered to meet the changes that have been affecting the Private Rented Sector.

One of the most significant changes affecting letting agents is the legal requirement to join an escalated consumer redress scheme following the legislation that came into effect on 1st October 2014.

As such, it is important that the Property Redress Scheme (PRS) attend the conference to explain the necessity for mandatory redress and help prepare agents for these new rules of business. Sean Hooker said,

“The PRS is committed to improving industry standards by providing help, education and guidance to Property Agents. I am looking forward to meeting you at the NALS conference and answering any questions you may have about the scheme”
