Letting Agents are urged to sign up with an approved redress scheme after a £3000 fine is issued

The Property Redress Scheme supports National Trading Standards warning to Estate, Letting and Property Management Agents in the UK to check that they are signed up with an approved redress scheme that covers the full remit of their work.

National Trading Standards have issued the warning following a recent tribunal decision that penalised a business that was signed up to the Property Ombudsman for its letting agency work but not for its property management work.
